If, perhaps, you need something to take your mind off things for awhile, try the Rolling Stones‘ music video for “Hate To See You Go” off their new studio album Blue and Lonesome

The video is mostly studio footage of the band recording the song, written by blues legend Little Walter, interspersed with slice-of-life scenes from various cities. Most importantly, there’s a dog flirting with a career in basketball and Mick Jagger’s gleeful dance moves. 

The imagery that could not come at a better time following Donald Trump’s perplexing decision to play “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” just after his victory speech — even though the Rolling Stones have publicly distanced themselves from him.  Read more…
