Despite mixed reactions, new MacBook Pro is selling like crazy


Apple’s MacBook Pro launch in October inspired more criticism than any Mac event in recent history. The new 13- and 15-inch MacBook Pros, while thinner and more powerful than ever before and equipped with the brand new Touch Bar, are significantly more expensive than the older models. They also don’t come with a 32GB option. And all connectors have been replaced with USB-C ports, plunging users into dongle hell, which Apple quickly tried to remedy by reducing the prices of its dongles and accessories. 

Despite all that, it appears that the new MacBook Pro is selling very well, and has already outsold all of its Windows-based competitors by a large margin.  Read more…
