The General Manager of Lekki Gardens, Mr. Richard Nyong, has been captured by the police for the breakdown of a five-storeyed working under development on Kushenla Road, Ikate Elegushi, Lagos State, which slaughtered no less than 35 persons.
Affirming the capture, the representative for the Lagos State Police, Dolapo Badmus said, “The MD, Lekki Gardens, Mr. Richard Nyong, has been captured. He is in guardianship and will soon be charged to court.”
The building breakdown which prompted the loss of numerous lives happened around 3 AM on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 because of a substantial downpour which poured around the time.
